Council PTA Names Scholarship and Campus Award Recipients
The Lubbock ISD Council of PTAs announced the PTA scholarship student winners at the Spring Awards Luncheon on May 16. The council also announced the end-of-year PTA awards. Click here to read more.
LISD Retirement Banquet Scheduled
The LISD Retirement Banquet will be Thursday, May 23 at 6:30 p.m. in the Jay Gordon Room of Central Office. The Human Resources Department generates a list of retirees from those employees who have turned in their retirement paperwork after the 2012 Retirement Banquet. Employees who plan to retire and would like to attend the retirement banquet should contact Aretha Metcalf by calling 766-1138 or by email.

LISD-TV Set to Cover May 31 - June 1 Graduations
Commencement exercises for Lubbock ISD seniors have been scheduled for Friday, May 31, and Saturday, June 1, and will take place in the United Spirit Arena on the Texas Tech University campus.
